Wordpress Plugin Registration

I'm using a self hosted Wordpress blog v2.5.1. I notice that Tagaroo doesn't prompt me for a newer version available. I assume that this means you haven't registered the plugin with Wordpress. Do you know if that's the case?

If so, you should register so those of us on the platform can be prompted to install the most recent version.

The Semantic Web for Newbies

My interest in the Semantic Web started about 3 days ago. I am not a techie but have a reasonable grasp of most things. It has been a steep learning curve over the last few days. It would appear from my initial research on the subject that 'Users' and basic website owners like bloggers with wordpress will have difficulty grasping the idea. I have started a blog site using Wordpress for beginners, wordpress users and newbies that would like to become part of the Semanti Web (like myself).

I have found that Calais and Yahoo seemed to be leading the way and would appreciate it if anyone from your organistaion would participate in my new blog for Newcomers.

Good for you for jumping in - I agree it's a thick soup (forgive these mixed, messy metaphors...). Guidance for newcomers to the semantic arena is especially helpful; your blog is a welcome addition.

Hi Fran

Thanks 'thick soup' is a good description. I have been working on the site over the last few hours with regards to your microformats injector, couldnt get it to work as I was trying to implement it within wordpress. If it can be implemented in wordpress then that would certainly boost the issues.

Please visit the site again when you have time I have now added a forum with an area for OpenCalais

I'm a little unclear on the issue. Are you looking for Tagaroo to prompt when there is a new version of Tagaroo available?

If so - this is probably a good idea for the next release. The bad news is - there isn't yet a new version of Tagaroo available.
