Time to start testing your applications against Release 4 of Calais. There are significant changes in the response format of R4 and chances are pretty high that you application will need some modifications.

The short story:

• The R4 release notes are located here.
• Point your application to beta.opencalais.com
• When you're happy point it tp api1.opencalais.com. This is your new production access point and can be used full volume today.
• Consider modifying your application to use the new RDFS definition available here

That's it. Test early. test often. Our target date for switching R4 to production is 15 March 2009.
