Greetings!

We have created a Calais group on Facebook for all interested parties as well as members of the OpenCalais community.

The Facebook group makes it easy for us to provide you with updates on the Calais Web service and API, and to share relevant news stories to kick-start conversations.

It is also a simple way to share listings of the upcoming conferences and developer events in which we are participating, such as the Online News Association annual conference in Washington DC, and MIT's EmTech '08 in Cambridge, MA.

The group is open to all, and we look forward to your contributions (discussions, postings, links to your apps in the OpenCalais gallery, etc.). It can be found by searching for Calais in the Facebook group directory.

(Note that there are a number of Facebook groups that include the 'Calais' name, so if you can't find ours, just friend me -- Krista Thomas -- and I will invite you in.)
