Hello

I am a .Net developer and NLP is not my core strength. However while developing a solution for a consulting firm, I came across your web service and found it about 80% userful. I have three quick questions here ..

  • I have gone through legal terms link and could not find anything about utilizing Calasis in a desktop application  .
  • There were some data elemnts which were incorrectly tagged , but  I am assuming that if proper data dictionaries/look up tables are used, it should not be an issue ( but don't know how to..)
  • I am also of the view that for consulting firms there is a need of software which can be built on top of Calasis . Is it possible to use calasis binaries for distribution with customized applications.

Hello Atul,

I suggest you take a look at our Showcase for some examples of what others have done with Calais. Also, take a look at the various references in this forum thread.

As for incorrectly tagged data elements, please report those to us. If they're evidence of bugs we'll correct them.

We don't share our binaries, but look at the FAQs, especially those for the API and Commercial Calais, which may offer some insights to you.
