Is it possible to download the OpenCalais server and run it ourselves? Also, I'm having serious problems downloading & configuring OpenCalais. I would love some help since I'm a serious newb (but I know somethings like basic bash, terminal, C code, java basics, etc).

I am trying to run some files through the tool, to extract the entities, name, city and organisation involved in the text, but I am getting the wrong counts of the entities (eg Name), present in the actual text, please suggest, what can be done to avoid this error/

Where do I go after this point? I don't understand this page - how do I go about making the API calls with Java? I looked at several of the READMEs but it appears some of the links are broken like:

I'm not clear what I need to download to get the API invocation.

We do not offer the Calais server for on-site processing.

- Take a look at the Showcase (www.opencalais/showcase) - the pages where other developers and users have posted writeups of the ways Calais is helping them with content.
- Also take a look at the blog postings, which may help direct you.
- The Forum has a number of Q&As that you might find helpful in figuring out problems.
- And, finally, the documentation - http://www.opencalais.com/documentation/calais-web-service-api - the definitive instructions and guidelines for submitting content to Calais.

Hope this helps.
