We're big fans of Open Calais and implemented the tagaroo Wordpress plugin on our site
http://www.adevelopingstory.org/
Unfortunately, we've had to uninstall it as it makes the backend of wordpress unusable. It may be that this is a consequence of some conflict with another plugin we're using. However, our general feeling is that the plugin tries to do too much - we want it for tags but not pictures (many of which are copyright anyway). Would it be possible to release a stripped down tagging version of the plugin without all the UI bells and whistles, pictures, etc.
Thanks

Hi,
Can you send us what other plugins you have installed in your Wordpress platform. We want to investigate further into this.

Since Tagaroo 1.4, the latest release, it is possible to turn off the automatic fetching of Tags. You can turn off this option under Settings->Tagaroo. Just un-check the 'Auto Fetch Tags' option. It can help the performance issues when writing a post.

We like the idea of stripped down version that just suggests tags and doesn't bring pictures. Will keep you posted as the idea makes progress.
