Is the semanticProxy service supposed to return the same tags/terms than the OpenCalais would, if we were to send the content of a url to OpenCalais?

For instance, say I provide the following url to SemanticProxy:

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123776771429809585.html

and I provide the content of this page to OpenCalais.

Will the results returned by both the semanticProx and OpenCalais be the same or pretty close?

You should get the same RDF if you use api.opencalais.com and the web service.

In semanticproxy we remove less relevant content from the HTML page like ads, headers/footers and so the extracted tags should more relevant to the article than when sending the HTML page directly to the web service.

Hi,

I've retried it with the same link mentioned in my previous post and I am now getting much better results than yesterday. In fact, I do get the same tags as when I copy/paste the article text in the OpenCalais demo page. However, I noticed that SemanticProxy does not return the Facts&Event section that OpenCalais provides.

Will this be added to SemanticProxy soon?

thanks a lot for your time,
