Hey there, quick question : is it possible to do simultaneous requests on the server (for example 4 nodes at the same time) or are there any restrictions on the amount of requests we can do per second ??

Thanks,

Alexis

Does OpenCalais provides mechanisms to create and maintain the Global directory of FOAF entities For example, I am working on building an application for building a FOAF network and would I be able to use OpenCalais as a basis for storing this information?

You can submit 4 transactions per second - they will be returned to you with metadata as they are processed.

You can generate the metadata in OpenCalais but we offer no "storage" for users' data.

Hope this helps.

The default usage quota allows for 4 transactions per second; so the answer to your question is - Yes.
