OpenCalais Viewer Offers no response

We experienced an issue with OpenCalais Viewer, in which it reports "Submitting" but never returns output. This has been fixed, but if you experience this problem, clear your browser cache and re-submit.

Did the whole install and got the API code. Soon afterward it worked all day. Then a day later and since, it has not worked. I have refreshed and cleared the cash by virute that I restarted the computer, and it still does not work. No tags.
Hello again,
U have raised a new JIRA issue on this (JIRA is the bug-tracking system that we use).
We will keep you posted, as soon as we have any news on this.
I don't want to speculate, but It could be that the viewer is outdated.

My Document Reader is working again after I installed today the new version of the Submission Tool of 28 June 2009.
Thanks
Biztel
No I am afraid it did not work. Workflow is:
1. Txt file (already in UTF-8) are placed in the Input folder, and submitted via Open Calais Submission tool
2. After it has run, the results are automatically saved in the output folder (this is the .txt I sent you in my last message). When I try to view in the Calais document reader, I get the unsupported document message.
It has nothing to do with the BBC copyright sign because I get the same problem with any output files produced from any input files. I have tried to copy the text from the output file, as you suggest, paste it into a fresh notepad file and save as UTF-8 encoding, but then the reader does not see it any more as a ClearForest format.
Thanks for your help.

Hello Biztel,
How are you obtaining and saving the RDF ?
Are you using the calais-viewer to submit your text,
and then copy the RDF output and paste it inside an editor ?
If that is the scenario, then please note that you have to save it in UTF-8 encoding,
to allow special chars within the text. In your case, it is the BBC copyright-sign that is making the RDF illegal, unless saved in UTF8.
Please follow these instructions, and let us know if it works:
1. Submit your text through calais-viewer
2. Paste the RDF results inside NotePad . (assuming Windows...)
3. File==>Save As
4. Select "Encoding" = "UTF-8"
5. "Save" to save as TF8
6. Open DocViewer, and load the saved RDF
Pls let us know if you are experiencing any more troubles with this.

Hi,
Please post your output document here. (minus any details you want to hide)
Once we have this doc, we'll be able to troubleshoot.

A document (.txt) was submitted, successfully processed and produced an xml in the output folder, but the document viewer produced the error message "Unsupported document'. The same .txt had previously been processed and had produced readable results. The previously produced output (xml) is still readable.
At the moment I am unable to read results from the output of any new submissions
Can someone help me?
