After a couple successful calls to the Calais API, I'm getting a HTTP 500 error from the service.

I get the bulk processing error when I run it on "blog entry" with just 7 nodes (drupal)! The dblog doesn't show any entries for this process

Calais Bulk Processing has encountered an error.
Please continue to the error page
An HTTP error 500 occurred. /batch?id=16&op=do

On clicking the link to the error page I am taken back to Calais Configuration | Calais Bulk Processing page and the following lines appear right at the top

An error occurred while processing calais_batch_process with arguments :calais_batch_process

Best regards

Hello,

This issue was resolved already. (or at least supposed to...)

It is important for us to know the exact timing of your incident(s).

Can you please double-check to make sure it currently persists ?

Tx

Seems to be working fine for me again.

Thanks for your help,

Apologies,

I will now look deeper into this.

This error indicates a server that failed to init at all,

and you seem to hit it as often as the load-balancer directs you there.

However: on my end it seems that all servers are OK.

Probably has to do with Load-Balancing/DNS mis-config.

More to follow soon,

Meir

Hi everyone,

I'm still getting this error. Was working fine when I installed.

Anyone else?

Hi Meir,

I'm getting a very similar problem this morning as well.  About half of my requests return exactly the same 500 error that rubinsztajn reported.

Are you sure that everything is up and running?

Thanks in advance!

Hello rubinsztajn,

We apologize  -  it seems you accidently hit a service "hiccup", caused by a maintenance operation.

We tested all servers  -  they are all fully operational now.

We will examine how to avoid such incidents in the future.

Please let us know if you are back-on-track, and can successfully get results.

Tx

Meir
