API Key never sent

API Key never sent

I have tried numerous times to get or retrieve an API Key.  I always get the message "Congratulations! Your API key has been emailed to you" but never receive the email.  It's not in my junk mail and I received the initial registration email.  Any clues?

missing api key email

same for me: Getting the mail with my initial pasword so tthe email seems fine but when asking for the API key several times congratulations but no email wit API key...

Hi Felix,

Our records show that the API email was sent three times. I've forwarded it again to your email account. Check your spam or junk mail folders - sometimes the API emails land there.

I've been trying to get an API key for the last few days and I'm running into the exact same issue. Got the registration email fine, turned off all my spam filters but still haven't gotten anything past that. Any help getting this resolved would be welcomed.

I've been having exactly the same issue. I've turned off all my spam protection to make sure that's not the problem but still nothing. The registration email came through just fine but I never get an API key email. Any help would be very appreciated!

I've tried two email addresses. I received the registration email. I've checked Junk and Spam folders.

Apparently Mashery had a period of hiccups but should be fine now.

I'm experiencing exactly same problem. Received the initial registration email. But, did not receive the email on API key (after trying numerous times to get or retrieve API key). I've checked my SPAM/Junk folders and have not found it/them there either. Please help. Thanks.

Hi Hrautio -

The email address in your account appeared to have a misspelling, which I've taken a guess at and changed. I have forwarded one of the API key emails to the changed address, and will be notified if it bounces back.

I still have not received the key, although I did receive the registration email. I checked and corrected my email address.

The welcome email contains the API key - a 24-character hexadecimal number. It states:

Welcome to the Calais Community!
Your API key has been approved. Here it is: *API key number here*

Please take a moment to review the Terms of Service for Calais at http://opencalais.com/terms before using your key.
