User-defined taxonomy

 I've seen some chatter about possible future user-defined taxonomy integration, but I haven't been able to find any recent updates. Is there any new movement? Can user-defined taxonomies be used, in either the free or enterprise editions?
Any info is appreciated!

Hi JF,
As appealing as user-defined taxonomies are (to users and to us!) they are not on the development schedule at this time.
