I know that OpenCalais can generate semantic tags for documents and webpages already.  Is it possible for it to generate a list of related website or documents for a particular website?  This would be specific to Microsoft Office SharePoint, for example if I opened up a discussion something would utilize the semantic data to suggest similar discussions.  Is that possible?

Hi,
Phase2 has developed a related content plugin using Calais for Drupal. See http://drupal.org/project/morelikethis for more info on how its done.

As Sharepoint is a separate content management server you will have to adopt the above concept and do something similar for Sharepoint. We have a share point and Calais integration developed at http://www.opencalais.com/documentation/moss-2007-open-calais-integration. It could be a good start.
