Obtain semantic data from hyperlinks?

I'd like to do this via the Tagaroo plug-in, but it doesn't appear as if it's received much support in the past year. I would like Calais to read the hyperlink, then provide metadata on the story that it links to, and return those tags. Is that possible, even if it is with the development kit and custom coding?

Tagaroo is a Wordpress plugin for blogs...its designed to suggest tags for the blogs you write.

You can use our Semantic Proxy API to process hyperlinks. Try out the simple demo at http://www.semanticproxy.com/usingSemanticProxy.html.
