How can I get list of all Social Tags

Hello,
How can I get list of all Social Tags?
For example - there is a list of all Document Categories in the OpenCalais documentation (here: http://opencalais.com/documentation/calais-web-service-api/api-metadata/document-categorization), but there is no such for Social Tags.

Such a list will can be very useful. But, I don't think it will be made available to the public. It is a core feature of open calais technology. If made available, it may become easier for copycats to imitate calais. Besides, I expect the list to be huge. Also, I think a huge collection of SocialTags will be more useful in tree structure, rather than a linear list.

However, to get a fair list of SocialTags you can make, lets say a 1000 request with different content. Once that is done, you can analyze the response to identify the unique SocialTags you receive. Of course, you will have to write a program for that. Just make sure it doesn't violate the TOS agreement.

I am working on a creating such an list. Although, I am not sure, if sharing the list is against the terms of service. However, if calais moderators clear that up, I would be happy to share it with you and the community.

I need that too...

Hi,
I don't thinks a list generated by the approach specified above and shared with others would violate TOS. Anyone can do that and should be allowed to. With 1000 or so documents you will get a comprehensive list but I am not sure if it will be complete.

I will get back on whether we can share the list of social tags.

OpenCalais SocialTags are derived from Wikipedia - the list is all Wikipedia topics. Thus, there is no fixed list of possible values. That's why they are social - they evolve over time, driven by the Wikipedia community.

Not how to get social tags, rather where is the list of ALL tags

Hi,
Social tags are not processed by default in Open Calais. You need to enable them as described here http://www.opencalais.com/documentation/opencalais-web-service-api/api-metadata-english/api-metadata-english-social-tags.
