This article suppose to match (Cambridge, UK), but it matches (Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States) instead.

Hi xiahong,

This bug is really interesting, thanks for pointing us to it. As you may know for resolving popular geo entities we lookup for evidences in the sentence. In this article, for the mention of  Cambridge (as there are many cities with this name), we see what other countries, states, etc. are mentioned in sentences where Cambridge appear. For example, if Cambridge and United Kingdom appeared in the same sentence, we can resolve the article is talking about the Cambridge, United Kingdom. However we cannot find any such evidences in the sentence.

So why is it resolved to Cambridge, Massachussetts? In this sentence 'In 1836, after the Beagle voyage, Darwin returned to Cambridge and paid out £12 for his MA.', the degree is identified as the state of Massachussetts in US which leads to the wrong resolution of the city, Cambridge.

Thanks.
