Using the Submission Tool - The Basics
The basic operation of the Submission Tool is straightforward. You will create a directory (folder) for your text input, another for your text output, provide your API Key, and instruct the Submission Tool to process your input.
- Create a local directory where files for processing will be located. Files for processing must have one of the following filename extensions: .xml, .txt, .htm or .html.
- Create a local directory for the output files.
- Run the application by clicking on the desktop link created during the software installation. The following screen will display.
- Insert your API Key in the API Key text field.
- Insert the pathname for your input folder and your output folder, or browse to the folder by clicking on the folder button to the right of each of those fields.
- Click on the Run button to process the text in the input folder.
