Develop a New Drupal Module, Get a Basic Package for FREE for One Year

As you know, there are several third-party solutions which leverage Calais and make its capabilities even better. A Drupal module, which integrates the powers of the Calais Web Service with Drupal, is one of them.

This solution integrates the semantic meta-tagging of content through Calais. Unfortunately, with the introduction of our new and improved API and pending retirement of our legacy API, many users are finding the existing Drupal module is no longer working for them.

Modules like the Drupal one are developed by members of the community and not in-house. As such, we are posing a challenge to the community: develop a Drupal module that works with the new and improved API and we are willing to offer you a Basic Package (25,000 documents per day) for one year for FREE.

The rules are simple:

1. Develop a Drupal solution which fits with the new API.
2. Submit it by November 16, 2015 by including it in an email to matt.lepage@thomsonreuters.com.
3. We will choose a winner on November 23, 2015.

If your solution meets certain testing criteria, we will feature it prominently on our site and will invite users to try it out. Put simply, you’ll be a hero.

Of course, since these solutions are not being developed by Thomson Reuters, we are not accountable for them. As such, we expect the winner to be accountable for his or her solution and is responsible for fixing any reported issues.

Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing your solutions!
