Release 3 of the Calais Web Service

We've been listening to you. You wanted more Calais features and functionality to incorporate into your information and content applications, and Release 3 delivers them. 

The latest release of the Calais Web Service (Release 3 or R3) includes new Entities, Events/Facts, additional attributes for existing Events/Facts, numerous new features, a REST interface, and enhancements to Gnosis, Simple Formats, and Microformats. We believe the many features in this release will enhance your work and enrich your information. The Release Notes are attached below. We also refer you to the documentation and, particularly, the revised documentation on API Calls.
