Getting Started with OpenCalais

Here's how to get started in three easy steps: get an API key, develop or get an application that uses OpenCalais functionality, and then get going.

Step 1: Get an API Key

Register here. We will send your API key to your email address.

Step 2: Get an Application

You have several choices:

• Calais module for Drupal. Even if you use another production CMS, the Calais modules for Drupal are a good place to explore and prototype. They can also be useful sample code.
• Calais plug-in for Wordpress.
• Calais Submission Tool.
• Build your own proof of concept. See the OpenCalais API documentation for more detail.

Step 3: Get Going

Submit your content, and see what happens.
