Klezio is an Semantic RSS Aggregation Portal. It fetches news from RSS feeds, uses openCalais to retrieve the semantic and fetches many interesting stuff (Context) such as Wikipedia, Wikinews, Flickr, twitter and delicious stuff, it also suggests connexe news to the reader.

The idea is to surround the news item with relevant data coming from great apps.

The website is brand new and perfectible, and I'm working on it.

Thinkpedia is a new way to navigate and explore the contents of Wikipedia. It is what we call a "Visual Wiki". Thinkpedia uses SemanticProxy in order to extract semantics out of Wikipedia articles, which are then shown in an interactive visualization which is created with Thinkmap.

co2alarm.com is a news aggregator for green headlines. It is based on clustering techniques permitting a dynamic research of related news. Thus, each cluster summarizes various articles with very similar headlines. The algorithm behind co2alarm.com is based on statistical text analysis. Every day, co2alarm.com creates an updated clustering to give you a fast overview of memes regarding green technology, environmental and climate change.

co2alarm.com uses a treemap visualization enabling its users to see at first view which cluster of memes currently is especially requested. The relevance is based on cluster size witch indicates how many headlines are in there. Clusters with similar content have the same color.

This Python module is a wrapper around the OpenCalais API. It makes REST calls to the OpenCalais API via HTTP POST, then parses and simplifies the JSON responses returned by OpenCalais. You can then access the response data in a much more pythonic manner.

Tested with Python 2.5.
